The immediate answer

Build 0.5.6518 is a broad hotfix for Bunny-versus-Hunter interactions, loot placement, controls and interface behavior, rooms, startup stability, servers, and Steam integration.

The clearest systemic change is the item-spawn shift from corpses toward chests. Firework trapping, active Impostor collision, Sisters Scream exclusions, Ticketman play-dead detection, and Trap Mannequin counterplay also change directly.

Bunny and Hunter interactions

  • A small Firework area of effect now prevents double trapping.
  • Active Impostors no longer collide with the Magician.
  • Scream no longer affects a Bunny while the Bunny is in a cage, in LeBox, jumping in the Lost Hat, in a rabbit pile, or in other protected or committed states covered by the developer's broader list.
  • Ticketman now detects a Bunny that jumps into range and then starts playing dead.
  • A Bike crash and an interaction-timing bug after picking up a Bunny were fixed.
  • Bunnies can now place mousetraps on Trap Mannequins.
  • Play-dead Bunny highlight flickering was fixed.

Installed-build cross-check

A fresh 0.5.6518 conversion completed with 15,058 packages and no extraction failures. Every one of 37,638 converted physical files was checked against the retained 0.5.6491 build by case-insensitive path and SHA-256.

The result is 104 changed matched files, six added files, and six removed files, resolving to 56 changed, three added, and two removed package assets. Another 468 paths changed filename casing but remained byte-identical and are not counted as gameplay changes.

  • Firework, active and passive Impostor, Bunny, Sisters Scream, Ticketman, and Trap Mannequin packages changed.
  • Inventory input, input-key exceptions, resource, sound-settings, inventory, Magician HUD, main-menu, and network game-mode packages changed.
  • The room generator and Ring, Amusement Hall, Circus, Plaza, Carousel, Chess Court, Organ Hall, and Performance Hall package areas changed; exact live collision and placement claims still come from the official note.
  • All three rating-based floor-item tables changed. Decoding finds 167 chest/corpse weight changes across 107 item, floor, and rating entries.
  • The other 12 published numeric tables behind movement, Charge, scoring, progression, ranks, chest contents, slot-machine offers, and regions are byte-identical to the previous build.

Additional installed-build findings

A new Bunny Hunter Noise tutorial package appears with a matching tutorial-media entry and gameplay tag. This is a package clue, not proof that the hint currently triggers in a specific live tutorial step.

  • Two blank helper textures were added and two old tutorial statue textures were removed; no player-facing behavior is inferred from that housekeeping.
  • The decoded loot values are selection weights, not final drop percentages. Runtime candidate filtering and normalization remain unexposed.
